Time to Prepare Privacy Policy

Time to Prepare is designed to help households manage supplies, plans, reminders, and related preparedness information. This page explains what data the app uses and how that data is handled.

Effective date: April 6, 2026

1. Information you add to the app

You may enter inventory items, quantities, locations, notes, plans, household assumptions, reminders, and other preparedness-related content directly into the app.

This information is primarily stored on your device so you can use the app to organize your household preparedness data.

2. Photos, camera access, and barcode scanning

The app may request camera access so you can scan barcodes or capture reference photos for inventory items. The app may request photo library access so you can attach item photos you choose from your device.

These permissions are only used for features you choose to use. If you do not grant them, those features may be limited.

3. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the app may send local reminders related to your saved inventory, review cadence, or preparedness tasks. You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.

4. Backup and restore

The app may let you export a local backup file and later restore that file on a device. Backup files are controlled by you. If you share or store a backup outside the app, the privacy and security of that copy depend on the location or service you choose.

5. Optional iCloud syncing

If you choose to use iCloud syncing, app data may sync through your personal iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. Data handled through iCloud is subject to your Apple account settings and Apple’s terms.

If you do not use iCloud syncing, your app data remains limited to the storage options available on your device and any local backups you create.

6. Analytics, advertising, and sales of data

Time to Prepare is not intended to sell your personal information. This website policy does not describe any third-party advertising profile built from your app data.

If app data practices materially change, this policy will be updated.

7. Data deletion and access requests

Because the app is designed around data you manage on your own device, you can usually delete app content directly in the app or remove the app from your device. If you have questions about data handling, contact [email protected].

8. Contact

For privacy questions or support requests, contact [email protected].
